Measure Tool

The Measure Tool allows you to quickly check distances between parts of your buildings.

Quick Start

Start the Measure Tool by clicking on its icon ( ) in the toolbar.

Then simply click and hold on the build plate to start dragging out a ruler. Rulers move freely by default; hold ⇧ to snap to the grid. Endpoints still snap to model surfaces.

You can then grab the endpoints of the ruler to adjust it.

Advanced Controls

There are a number of useful controls when working with the measure tool:

S

to move the selected endpoint up or down in 25mm steps. Hold

⇧

for 1mm height steps.

Delete

key to remove the currently highlighted ruler.
