Connect Cleric

The Connect Cleric is a simple, yet powerful tool that allows you to place pegs, magnets, or filament slots at just the right positions. It automatically generates pegs on the top of your models and the holes on the corresponding bottom sides.

Workflow

Activate the Connect Cleric by clicking on its icon in the toolbar. You will see all possible connection positions of your building highlighted via white boxes.

First, select the type of connection you want to place from the right-side menu. Now click on the positions where you want your connection type to be applied.

Then simply leave the Connect Cleric to apply your changes.

Configuration

Using the right-side menu, you can change the kind of connection you create.

Connection Type

The type you select here determines what kind of connection will be created at the positions you click on.

Icon Name Description Peg Creates 3mm pegs on top positions and 3mm peg holes on bottom positions. Magnet Creates square holes fitting 3x3x3mm magnets (square and cylinder). This option is HIGHLY recommended. Filament Creates circular holes fitting 1.75mm filament pieces. clear Remove Closes any previously created connection at the clicked positions.

Actions

Icon Name Description apps Set all Sets all available positions to current type. restart_alt Reset all Resets all placed positions back to neutral (does not affect connections created in a previous use of the Connect Cleric)

Visibility

Since the number of possible positions can quickly become overwhelming, we have added the option to hide some of them. For each connection height (e.g., between floors 1 and 2), you can find a button in the right-side menu to toggle the visibility of its positions.
